Bio-energy - In cooperation with a team of academic and commercial partners, DLSci conducts scientific research and product development for applications such as "Biobatteries™", "Military Biorefineries", and other derivations of power and energy from biology.
Commercial Sales - DLSci supports commercial sales for several end item producers. These range from biocatalyst packages to advanced electronics. Sales activities include, marketing, exhibit and conference support and representation, GSA schedule entry, accounting and point of sales activities.
Studies - DLSci conducts studies for various government entities.
Consulting - For instances where there is an important Life Sciences defense capability emerging that needs expert assistance to be commercialized:
· DLSci identifies the federal budget programs with the highest success potential.
· If needed, DLSci will identify appropriate partnership companies to meet the government's overall requirements for the project.
· Assist in the drafting and submission of proposals and then monitor the review process of the proposal, coordinating with the appropriate federal agencies.
· Maintain contact with the appropriate program manager. Prepare white papers as necessary.
· Provide after sales support including complete project management, accounting, reporting and federal representation.
